Lord of the Rings Creator Challenge

Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. THIS IS A CONTEST OF SKILL. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE THE JUDGING SCORE OF ANY ENTRY.

1. Sponsor

The Lord of the Rings Creator Challenge (the "Contest") is sponsored, administered, and all prizes are provided by Tunespeak, LLC, doing business as Daysies ("Daysies" or "Sponsor"). If Sponsor uses a third-party payment processor to deliver a prize, that payment processor is not a sponsor or administrator of the Contest.

2. Third-Party Disclaimer

This Contest is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Middle-earth Enterprises, Warner Bros. Discovery, or any other owner or licensor of "The Lord of the Rings," "The Hobbit," or Middle-earth intellectual property. All related names, characters, logos, and indicia are trademarks of their respective owners.

3. Contest Period

The Contest entry period (the "Entry Period") begins on August 24, 2026 at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time and ends on September 20, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time. Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest.

4. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding Arizona and all U.S. territories and possessions) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are at least eighteen (18) years old and have reached the age of majority in their state or province of residence at the time of entry.

The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors, judges, and agents of Sponsor, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, and children, whether related by blood, marriage, or adoption, regardless of where they live) and household members (whether related or not), are not eligible to enter or win.

5. How to Enter

During the Entry Period, eligible entrants may enter by:

(a) visiting https://www.daysies.com/creator-challenges/lord-of-the-rings (the "Contest Page"); (b) signing in to, or creating, a free Daysies account using only one account per person; (c) creating or selecting an eligible game on Daysies; (d) publishing the game with Public visibility (Discoverable on Daysies) before or during the Entry Period; and (e) submitting the game to the Contest through the "Submit a Game" process on the Contest Page and agreeing to these Official Rules.

Each submitted game is one "Entry." An entrant may submit unlimited distinct eligible Entries, subject to these Official Rules. Each Entry must be a separate, distinct game. Sponsor may treat substantially identical, duplicated, minimally modified, or repeatedly reposted games as one Entry or disqualify them if they appear intended to game the Contest. The number of Entries submitted does not improve the judging score of any Entry.

Previously created games may be submitted if they are published with Public visibility (Discoverable on Daysies) and otherwise satisfy these Official Rules.

6. Creator Credits / Free Participation

Daysies game creation may use Creator Credits. Eligible Entries may be created using free, promotional, earned, tipped, other eligible non-paid, or purchased Creator Credits. Purchased credits do not improve the score or treatment of any Entry.

During the Entry Period, an eligible entrant may email support@daysies.com to request three (3) free Contest Credits for Contest participation. After substantially using those free Contest Credits for eligible Contest Entries, the entrant may request another set of three (3). No purchase or payment is required for those requests. Sponsor may reasonably verify identity and eligibility and may refuse automated, duplicate, fraudulent, or abusive requests. Free Contest Credits have no cash value and may be restricted to game creation or Contest use.

7. Entry Requirements

Each Entry must:

• meaningfully relate to The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and/or Middle-earth;
• be published on Daysies with Public visibility (Discoverable on Daysies) when submitted and remain eligible under these Official Rules during the Entry Period and judging;
• function substantially as intended;
• comply with the Daysies Terms of Use (https://www.daysies.com/terms) and applicable content and community rules;
• not infringe any copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
• use only content the entrant has authority to use;
• not contain unlawful, deceptive, harmful, abusive, hateful, obscene, malicious, or otherwise prohibited content;
• not contain malicious code or attempts to interfere with Daysies; and
• be submitted by the creator or an authorized submitter.

Entrants are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and rights clearance of their Entries. Entries involving third-party intellectual property, including Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, or Middle-earth themed content, must comply with applicable law and the entrant's rights to use such material. Sponsor may reject, remove, or disqualify any Entry that Sponsor determines, in its reasonable good-faith judgment, to be inappropriate, ineligible, or in violation of these Official Rules, the Daysies Terms of Use, or applicable law.

8. Contest Categories

Category Prizes will be awarded in the following eight (8) game-type categories:

1. Trivia
2. Crossword
3. Word Search
4. Petal Pluck
5. Scramble
6. Lie Detector
7. Sets
8. Lineup

Each Entry will be judged in the category corresponding to its game type on Daysies.

9. Preliminary Screening

Sponsor intends to judge the strongest eligible Entries, but is not required to fully play or fully score every Entry. If submission volume makes full review impractical, Sponsor may use preliminary screening before full judging.

In preliminary screening, Sponsor may consider legitimate plays, legitimate post-play thumbs-up reactions, thumbs-up rate where useful, completeness and functionality, apparent responsiveness to the Contest theme, preliminary indicators of originality, creativity, accuracy, playability, or overall quality, and suspected fraudulent or manipulated activity.

An Entry's legitimate plays and thumbs-up reactions may affect whether that Entry receives preliminary review or advances to full judging. An Entry receiving little or no legitimate engagement may therefore be less likely to receive full judging than an Entry receiving substantial legitimate engagement.

Plays and thumbs-up reactions are screening signals, not public votes, and do not determine any prize winner.

Sponsor may advance lower-engagement Entries that Daysies identifies as potentially exceptional through moderation, testing, editorial review, preliminary review, or ordinary operation of the service. Sponsor may disregard, discount, normalize, or remove suspicious or manipulated engagement.

10. Finalists and Judging

Sponsor may select up to twenty-five (25) Finalists per category for full judging. Sponsor is not required to select exactly twenty-five (25) Finalists in any category.

Finalists will be scored out of 100 points using the following skill-based criteria:

• Originality and Uniqueness — 25 points: how fresh, distinctive, and non-derivative the Entry feels within its category and theme.
• Creativity and Entertainment Value — 25 points: how engaging, fun, and thoughtfully designed the Entry is for players.
• Accuracy and Correctness — 20 points: whether questions, answers, clues, words, facts, and mechanics are correct and fair.
• Playability and User Experience — 15 points: clarity, usability, pacing, and overall player experience.
• Use of Contest Theme — 10 points: how meaningfully and effectively the Entry uses The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, and/or Middle-earth theme.
• Overall Polish and Execution — 5 points: presentation, coherence, and finished quality.

Judges will be selected by Sponsor in its reasonable discretion. No random drawing determines winners. Likes, plays, and thumbs-up reactions do not determine final winners.

11. Tie-Breaking

If Entries tie after judging, Sponsor will break ties in the following order: (1) Originality and Uniqueness; (2) Creativity and Entertainment Value; (3) Accuracy and Correctness; (4) Playability and User Experience; (5) Use of Contest Theme; and (6) further comparative evaluation using the judging criteria as a whole.

12. Prizes

Nine (9) prizes will be awarded:

• Eight (8) Category Prizes: one (1) $50 U.S. Visa gift card for the highest-scoring eligible Entry in each category listed in Section 8.
• One (1) Grand Prize: one (1) $250 U.S. Visa gift card for the highest-scoring eligible Entry overall.

Approximate retail value ("ARV") of each Category Prize: $50. ARV of the Grand Prize: $250. Total ARV of all prizes: $650. All values are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise specified.

Prize selection structure:

• The Grand Prize and each Category Prize are separate awards.
• An Entry does not need to win its category to win the Grand Prize.
• The same Entry may not win both the Grand Prize and a Category Prize.
• After the Grand Prize-winning Entry is selected, that Entry is excluded from Category Prize selection.
• If the Grand Prize-winning Entry would otherwise have won its category, that Category Prize will be awarded to the next highest-scoring eligible Entry in that category.
• Different prizes will therefore be awarded to different winning Entries.

Multiple prizes for one creator:

• There is no limit on the number of prizes one eligible entrant may win through different Entries.
• The same entrant may win multiple Category Prizes with different Entries.
• The same entrant may win the Grand Prize and one or more Category Prizes through different Entries.
• Winning one prize does not alter the score of the entrant's other Entries.

Prizes are not transferable except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if reasonably necessary. If Sponsor uses a third-party payment processor to deliver a gift card or cash equivalent, that processor is not a sponsor of the Contest.

Canadian winners, if any, will receive the U.S. dollar value of the prize or a substantially equivalent award, which may be paid or delivered in U.S. dollars or converted at a commercially reasonable rate determined by Sponsor or its payment provider.

Winners are responsible for all taxes, reporting obligations, and other legal obligations associated with accepting a prize, to the extent required by law.

13. Chances of Winning

This is a skill contest, not a sweepstakes or lottery. The chances of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received, the number of Entries in each category, the quality of an Entry relative to competing Entries, whether an Entry advances through preliminary screening, and the application of the judging criteria. Engagement may affect advancement to full judging but does not determine a winner.

14. Winner Selection, Notification, and Verification

Sponsor expects judging to be completed within approximately thirty (30) days after the Entry Period ends. Potential winners will be contacted after judging using the contact information associated with the entrant's Daysies account.

Potential winners may be required to verify eligibility and complete any required documentation, including identity, age, residency, Entry ownership, eligibility declarations, lawful releases, and payment or tax information needed to award the prize. Potential winners must respond within seven (7) days after Sponsor's first attempt to contact them, unless Sponsor allows a longer period in its reasonable discretion.

Verified winners will be announced shortly after verification. Sponsor does not guarantee a fixed public announcement date. Prizes are intended to be distributed without undue delay after verification.

If a potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the required period, declines the prize, is ineligible, fails verification, or has violated these Official Rules or the Daysies Terms of Use, Sponsor may award the applicable prize to the next highest-scoring eligible Entry under the applicable criteria.

15. One Person / One Account; Anti-Abuse

Each entrant may participate through only one Daysies account. Entrants must not create, control, access, coordinate, or use multiple accounts to obtain extra free or promotional credits, submit Entries through multiple identities, generate artificial plays or thumbs-up reactions, evade eligibility or enforcement, or obtain another unfair advantage.

Sponsor may investigate suspected abuse using information reasonably available to Sponsor and processed under the Daysies Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Sponsor may, in reasonable good-faith judgment, associate accounts controlled by the same person, disregard suspicious activity, revoke improperly obtained credits, remove Entries, declare an entrant ineligible, or disqualify an entrant or any or all of their Entries.

Merely sharing a household, internet connection, device, workplace, school, or similar resource does not automatically establish abuse. Legitimate sharing and promotion of games is permitted.

Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: bots; scripts; automated accounts; fake or duplicate accounts; impersonation; click farms; paid or improperly incentivized engagement; coordinated engagement exchanges; sham credit transfers or tips; account sharing for Contest purposes; identity or device manipulation; and attempts to circumvent these Official Rules.

16. Content Rights

Entrants retain ownership of their Entries subject to the Daysies Terms of Use. By entering, each entrant represents and warrants that they have all rights necessary to submit the Entry and permit its use under the Daysies Terms of Use and these Official Rules.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, each entrant grants Sponsor permission to identify winners and use the winner's name, Daysies username, likeness, winning Entry, prize information, and general location for Contest announcement and promotion without additional compensation.

17. Contest Integrity

Sponsor may disqualify any entrant or Entry for violation of these Official Rules, violation of the Daysies Terms of Use, being deemed inappropriate or ineligible, interference with the service or Contest, manipulation of credits, accounts, engagement, screening, or judging, use of multiple accounts, false identity, fraud, infringement, improper influence of judges, harassment, or other conduct that undermines the fairness, integrity, security, or legitimate operation of the Contest, subject to applicable law. Sponsor's decisions are made in reasonable good faith and are final to the fullest extent permitted by law.

18. Technical Problems; Modification

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, corrupted, misdirected, or unintelligible Entries; technical failures; platform outages; network problems; software or hardware failures; communications failures; unauthorized intervention; fraud; security events; or other circumstances outside Sponsor's reasonable control.

If any problem prevents the Contest from running as planned, Sponsor may suspend, modify, extend, or terminate the Contest when reasonably necessary to protect fairness, security, or proper administration and permitted by law. If practicable, prizes may be awarded from unaffected eligible Entries using the disclosed skill criteria. Sponsor does not have unlimited authority to retroactively change completed judging results arbitrarily.

19. Release; Limitation of Liability

By entering, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, partners, judges, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Contest, acceptance or use of a prize, or exploitation of any Entry, except where such release is prohibited by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the Contest. Nothing in these Official Rules limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.

20. Privacy

Information collected in connection with the Contest may be used under the Daysies Privacy Policy (https://www.daysies.com/privacy) for Contest administration, processing Entries, eligibility and identity verification, fraud and abuse prevention, contacting winners, prize distribution, winner announcements where lawful, and legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations.

21. Governing Law; Disputes

The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the dispute provisions in the Daysies Terms of Use, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Mandatory or non-waivable rights available under the laws of an entrant's place of residence are preserved.

22. Winners

Verified winners will be listed on the Contest Page at https://www.daysies.com/creator-challenges/lord-of-the-rings once verification is complete. Verified winners may also be announced on Daysies, in Daysies communications, or on Daysies social channels.

23. General

These Official Rules, together with the Daysies Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, govern the Contest and supersede any conflicting statements elsewhere about the Contest. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Daysies Terms of Use where applicable.
